Evolution of the Spyker Cars
Spyker Cars, Spyker’s most recent unveiling exposed the Spyker C8 Aileron. With it, Spyker has continued its tradition of its signature architecture of a mid-engine configuration in an aluminum space frame. Spyker’s design philosophy, which has always been to create timeless designs—both contemporary and classic, was also incorporated. This theme, though the motto for the company at all times, was up for refreshment. In aviation the propeller engine was succeeded by the turbine engine, so Spyker adopted the turbine as its “leitmotiv” for the Aileron, giving it a clean, smooth, fast appearance and capabilities.
